AI Study Notes Generator

Turns a chapter or lecture PDF into revision notes that separate what you must memorise from what only needs to make sense — the distinction most revision time is lost on.

Your material

Paste a chapter or your notes — or drop the lecture PDF straight in.

Sorted into what to memorise and what to understand

Most revision time is lost memorising things that only needed to make sense, and skimming the handful of terms and formulae an exam asks for verbatim. These notes separate the two explicitly, so your effort lands where marks are.

Why use it

Built to be genuinely useful

Memorise versus understand

Sorted explicitly, so effort goes where marks are rather than into re-reading what only needed to click once.

Nothing invented

Written only from the material you gave it. A note your source does not support is worse than no note when it is being memorised.

Likely exam questions

Three, drawn from the same material, so you can test the notes rather than admire them.

Your PDF is read on your device

The file never leaves the browser; only the text it contains is sent, and only when you press generate.

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

Paste the chapter or upload the lecture PDF.

  2. 2

Pick a depth and the level you are studying at.

  3. 3

Read the sections in order — the big idea first, then what to memorise.

Why the split matters more than the summary

Most revision goes wrong the same way: hours spent memorising things that only needed to be understood, and minutes skimmed over the handful of terms, dates and formulae an exam expects back verbatim. Both feel like work. Only one is aimed at the paper.

Definitions, named laws, formulae and dates are recall items — there are no marks for the gist. Mechanisms, causes and comparisons are the opposite: memorising a sentence about them gives you nothing when the question reframes the situation, while understanding gives you an answer to a question you never rehearsed.

So the notes name which is which. It is a small structural difference and it changes where the next two hours go.

Notes you can still use in a week

The test of a set of notes is whether they work once you have forgotten the lecture. Notes written as fragments — half sentences, arrows, a word you were sure you would remember — fail that test reliably, because the missing half was in your head at the time and is not there now.

Complete sentences take slightly longer to read and survive the gap. Each key point here is written as one, so a point you meant to keep is still a point rather than a prompt for something you can no longer reconstruct.

The three exam questions at the end are meant to be attempted before you look back at the notes. Being unable to answer one is the most useful signal the whole page can give you.
